The Campus Warehouse is, once again, playing host to NO SIR E!
College-aged sample warrior from the Philadelphia area by way of Seattle, producer/live performer NO SIR E has been moving and shaking basements, clubs and bars from LA to NYC for several years now with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Gargantuan in stature, NO SIR E has been shattering the stereotypical image of your average electronic musician complete with a physically engaging live performance. He is one of the brainchildren of minimalist controller pioneer Brian Crabtree who developed the Monome open source controller. Wielding a 256-button version in possession, a la LA's most dapper dandyist Daedelus, he delivers a hypnotically dazzling display of eccentric low-end beats with an impressive collection of riffs and melodies both familiar and unfamiliar. NO SIR E delivers a full package of a performance creating a dazzling visual spectacle of flickering lights and nimble finger work all while sending his listeners onto a musical journey.
Local support is coming from Houston's best emerging producer & live electronica talent, Josiah Gabriel, Third World TV, and FLCON FCKER.
Last, but definitely not least, the most essential role of the night is being filled by Houston's own, Skeezer. He's the captain of our ship and he's ridiculously talented. The Soular Grooves veteran will be setting the tone for the entire night playing in between the other performances and late into the night.
